| FAQ |
How long will it take for my webiste to be completed? The creation of your website will be an interactive process. You will need to supply us with most of the content and will be asked for regular feedback as we move forward. To a large extent your cooperation will faiclitate and accelerate this process. Small to medium size websites would generally take about four to six weeks to launch if there are no delays in providing content and feedback. Will we need to have a meeting in connection with the website design? In most cases, a physical meeting would not be necessary. Communicating through phone, email and using various online collaboration tools will allow us to discuss and visualize ideas, concepts and needs. Can you address all of our web design and hosting needs?Yes, we believe we can be your one stop company that will provide you with solutions for all your design and hosting needs. Whether your site will be more presentational and media oriented, or data-driven and transactional, we have the skills and experience to achieve the expected results. We use both our own dedicated servers and externally hosted environments for our development and production needs. How much will a website cost me?The cost of developing a website varies based on customer requirements, website complexity and level of customization. A small website design with a limited number of static pages could cost around $500 whereas a full e-commerce site with more content and a larger number of functionality pages, back-end administration etc. could cost anywhere between $2,000 and $10,000. We would be happy to discuss your needs and requirements, and give you a fair quote. Who owns the completed website?Any domains that we register for you, as well as the entire website product will be owned by you upon final payment. You will not be bound to hosting through us, or using our services for maintenance, if that becomes your preference. What should I include on my website? What information you wish to include on your website depends on the type of business you have. A good way to start is to look at websites similar to the type of business you have and then list down what they are already doing and what you could do better. How do we get started?Simply send us an inquiry with as much information as posisble about what you would like your website to achieve and look like. Describe any processes and transactions, major sections and/or pages it should have, what other sites you like the look of, and basically anything you feel may help us understand your requirements. We will review your notes and will get back to you with an estimate of time and cost. If you are not sure about look and feel, we can suggest a few alternatives to look at, and proceed customizing and adapting these designs to your specific preferences and needs. Can we use our existing logo, style etc.?Absolutely. Your existing corporate identity should be reflected in your website. Any logos, images, colors etc. will be incorporated in our design, unless you wish to modify or replace them. |
